Angels Walk Union Station
The Union Station/ El Pueblo/Little Tokyo/Civic Center Walk takes us back to the early village of Yang-na, home of the Tongva Indians, which became the settlement El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de Los Angeles that became our city, Los Angeles. This Native American village was subsequently settled by Spaniards, Mexicans, Chinese, Japanese, Italians, Africans, Portuguese and many others. In a sense, this Angels Walk is about discovering the stories of people who all converged at this special place and claimed it as their own. As they did, Los Angeles evolved into a city that belongs to everyone.
